In NPP which use the named system almost all process protection and control loops are implemented in ACM7300 system with varying degree of complexity dependant on individual loop function. The system is robust, redundant and relatively simple in design, but the most important feature is it’s time proven reliability.

As mentioned in the introduction, verifying, calibrating and generally maintaining ACM7300 system comes with heavy man-hour cost associated.
